Landscapes

The paintings in the Landscape portfolio are inspired by places that I have been.  Sometimes I paint a version on location, but it is not worthy of display, and yet it has the on-site visual information that allows me to do another painting in the studio.  Sometimes I make color notes in the field which help me, together with photographs, to build the painting which you see here.  Enjoy!
